Water Cooled Air Blowers

Water Cooled Air Blowers are similar to air-cooled blowers but include a water-cooling system. The main casing and side plates have water jackets that circulate water to dissipate heat, keeping internal components cool. Recommended for discharge pressures above 10 psig (7000 mm WG), they ensure efficient operation and prolong bearing and seal life. Featuring a simple single-inlet, single-outlet cooling design with internal channels, water flows from the bottom to cover all areas effectively. Low flow rates are sufficient, making the system efficient, reliable, and easy to operate.

A. Blower Unit

  • Positive-displacement air blower with water-cooled housing / casing.
  • Paired rotors (e.g. twin-lobe / tri-lobe) mounted on parallel shafts with timing gears.
  • Rigid bearings, shaft seals, rotor balancing.

B. Drive Assembly

  • Electric motor (उपयुक्त kW / rpm) with coupling (flexible / rigid).
  • Heavy duty base frame, alignment pads, vibration isolators.
  • Flexible coupling guard.

C. Lubrication, Cooling & Sealing System

  • Water cooling channels / jackets around blower housing.
  • Lubrication (oil / grease) for gears, bearings.
  • High integrity seals (mechanical seals / lip seals) to prevent leakage of air / cooling water.

D. Accessories & Instrumentation

  • Inlet / outlet silencers, non-return valve, pressure relief valve.
  • Water inlet & outlet piping stubs, drain lines.
